This is gonna be a weird presidency. He’s dealing with mad legal issues, including sentencing soon. He's old as shyt and has become increasingly incoherent. He’s only gonna be in office for 1 term, so I wonder how he’s gonna handle other candidates vying for presidency while he’s on his way out. I doubt he’ll deal with it gracefully.

We talk that "Be careful and aware black man" shyt because it sounds good but honestly black folks are way too comfortable and complacent in comparison to how we talk. I've seen it way too many times. Black folks dont get mad at shyt until it's far too late to do anything about it

I see nikkas still being shocked about Latinos like they haven't shown time and time again where they stand. And even if you wake up now they're already knee deep in local politics and are buying up real estate like a muthafukka. But black folks got to comfortable thinking these nikkas your friends, or even worse, being too smug and relying on "The jalapeno pickers?:mjlol:"

You're right about this naivety, and there's an embarrassing amount of unserious behavior

sad thing is this shyt is like the sunset of black political power

He will be kept in as a Puppet and figurehead - he is the one who made all their conservative dreams come true. They gave him immunity already ain't no sentencing coming :mjlol:

I agree but also disagree. I agree that giving the whole platform in to disaffected White males would make them Republicans with different colors. And conservatism will always be more friendly to the white male psyche.

The Democrats spent a lot of time focusing on non-masculine things. Traditional (white) men aren’t really going to give a fukk about gay or trans people. To them, neither of those groups are men and are in fact antithetical to masculinity. Toxic masculinity and all those other discussions turn away male voters. Instead of trying to attack it, they should’ve spent time redefine it..And it’s not just White men, machismo is the one common denominator throughout Latino cultures as well. And masculinity is not going away..it’s changing, sure and the Democrats fell asleep at the wheel at trying to grab the narrative of what it should be. None of this “when they go low we go high”. Thats the equivalent of a mom telling her son to just ignore the bullies. Charisma makes all of this easier…and the Democrats seem to be lacking that since Obama left.

They also should’ve seen the drop in men that are going to college…that eats into their key demographic of college educated voters. And it also means that they’re likely to be making less than their female counterparts and so they should’ve addressed this trend YEARS ago. And it was spoken about on the news, it was no secret.
The problem with this is, you can't fight in two corners at once, especially in the climate we're in (where men and female are in absolutes, politcally); there's nothing that will redefine what masculinity is if the Right already has ahold of that definition with both hands and won't let go. How can the Democrats fight for the equality of women (whilst the opposition is putting men at the forefront), while also fighting for what is masculine?

Trying to divy up their energy, resources and favor between the two means they won't get either women or men on their side. Women will feel they're not at the forefront, and men will feel they're not at the forefront, and then they're in danger of losing both.

And look, the figurehead here for what is masculine is a convicted criminal and known rapist (who exemplifies the benefits of white privlege), so if this is something that these traditional men either ignore or identify with, than what could the Democrats possibly harness to get that demographic on side that won't put a foul taste in the mouths of their supporters who're already fighting against this?

dems should never support unfettered immigration/open borders again imo

Decades of those policies crushed them in the most important election of our lives
It's such a bad topic as neither party will ever end immigration.

Abortion and trans right/LGBTQ is a losing platform. It's clear the democrats just follow the money.
