Awww. Look yall, it's his first time watching an entire Presidential election.

It's fun watching how many of you bothsides Trump supporters really are politically illiterate.

"Trump just won West Virginia. He up "

:russ:
Stop it with nonsense like this, if was the same in 2016 until the blue wave never came, people have reason to worry.

I still think Kamala wins the election, I want her to win.

However, if Trump were to win in some ways, it'd be a good thing because, let's be honest, this would very much be his final term; I don't buy into all the doomsday President/Dictator forever shtick.

If Trump wins, this will be it. We won't have to worry about his ass being in the spotlight as a presidential candidate in 2028, 2032, and so on. This would be his final term. Sure, the next Republican could be just as bad or worse, but at least Trump would be fully out of the picture in terms of running for President.

That means Dems would have to actually do more than the bare minimum in terms of running a campaign which could either be a good or bad thing in that type of scenario where Trump isn't no longer on the other side of the ballot. We all want this man's time to end in terms of him constantly running, so while his winning would be awful, there's a bright side to him winning, as well, as stated above.
The problem is that Trump's influence would be undeniable in the party. Even though Trump winning would guarantee a Dem likely wins in 2028, Republican Presidential candidates in 28 and 32, and candidates for other elected offices would think being a Trump clone is the way to win.

The overall party would have no incentive to change for the better. If Trump loses for the 2nd time, the party has incentive to bush Trump and change into a more sane, rational party and minimize the power and influence of idiots and Trump supporting conspiracy theorists in Congress.

In case people want a quick reference and if you want to double check what the usual is for the states.

Projection (and why it'll come down to battleground or surprising state flips):

JD Vance is actually worse than Trump and he would 100% be the nominee if Trump wins this election
