The acceptance speech
-racism and misogyny did have something to do with the electionPeople keep saying Kamala wasn’t a good candidate and a random white guy with limited/no national profile and no federal executive experience (Shapiro, Newsome) would’ve been better…then in the same breath say racism and misogyny have nothing to do with the election You can’t make this up
Even tho they're wrong people in my generation are looking at the cost of living, housing crisis, and how much jobs are paying and they went with the guy who cant deliver any of that but is willing to lie that he will. The issue with growing up with the world at your fingertips is you get lazy with verifying sourcesWhich is wild considering all you hear from that generation is how they can't wait for the Boomers to die off so this country can fulfill its promises yet, they voted for the same old shyt again. They're no better than the generations that came before that they make seem like the worse mf's to ever inhabit the planet.
I agree, look how much money Kamala raised and she was the least likable candidate in the 2019 primaries. The messaging is flawed, the digital outreach must be modernized and every Dem in leadership over 70 needs to start working as shadow figures and let people who can set up a wifi router call the shotsi'll go to my grave believing that not only would democrats have made up enough of the gap (what the fukk else is pelosi good for), but it wasn't about money. it's 2024, everyone has a smartphone, cable tv is dying; money wasn't what decided this election
what did that money end up getting us? losing every swing state
I don't disagree but the uproar from black people about Kamala being skipped over... it was tone deaf. She shouldn't have been the candidateObama and Pelosi were planning on an open convention until Biden forced their hand.
was there an uproar, or did guilty white liberals and feminists think there was gonna be an uproar?I don't disagree but the uproar from black people about Kamala being skipped over... it was tone deaf. She shouldn't have been the candidate
Which principles do you agree with?
All those men who didn't vote for him in 2020 but did in 2024 (in particular those put off with Dems 'moist and weakness') would not have made up for that 15 million voter deficit.Democrats' image is moist and weak, and they got destroyed with men of all races
do with that what you will
A lot of people want dems to be MAGA lite. They want to throw trans people under the bus.
You can say she’s awful all you want, but when you say a random white man would’ve beat Trump, you’re admitting that race and gender was the main factor in the race. Being attached to Biden is a Trojan horse for said racism and misogyny.-racism and misogyny did have something to do with the election
-kamala is an awful politician, and a white man would have had a better chance, also because he would not have been biden's VP/attached at the hip
not sure anyone is denying either of those facts right now
After the Kavanaugh stupidity, we had a black woman in her hearing for the SC being asked "What is a woman?". Not sure if it was worse that she had to play politics and wouldn't answer or that the question had to be asked in the first place.
She ran the best campaign anybody could’ve ran in that window of time.
oof the last thing the Dems need right now is news cycles like this. the stock market is exploding, too
