He was seen as progressive BY HIS BASE. Or at least accepting of progressive ideas.

Do you have short term memory loss or something :lupe:

let us find out that they actually stayed home, to let donald trump win, and i'll spend the next two years drinking their fukking tears. i'll enjoy it. i'll relish the experience

start with that stupid twat rashida tlaib, who couldn't bear to endorse kamala, and will now spend the next two years crying about trump every day. we better not hear her complaining about republican rule, right?

that class literally delivered a big win in 2008, 2012, and 2020, but ok :dead:

any other anomalies you can think of that exclude 2016 and 2024?

Revisionist history. The two reasons Obama won were -

1. Being a once-in-a-lifetime politician with incredible charisma
2. George W. Bush and the Iraq War being extremely unpopular by 2008 (so honestly, whatever Dem probably would've won in 2008). Obama ran as the anti-war candidate which you'd bytch about.

And even then, having a black president is why we got Trump in 2016. The only real reason Biden won was COVID.

Nothing to do with being a centrist or not.

Don't think the Republicans dare touch Medicare with such a slim majority in the U.S. House.

They'd love to just end traditional Medicare and put everyone on Medicare Advantage i.e. private health insurance plans
Okay. So she could potentially pay more privately to an insurance company, but not necessarily end up completely uninsured?

yeah, pretty much. his handlers are gonna put in place the framework to work as shadow presidents, while he golfs and holds his stupid rallies

but i'll say this. if the republicans get in there, pass a tax cut, pass a real border bill (which i hope they do), economy seems to improve, stock market keeps going up...dems are looking bad for the immediate future. i mean, now we know that protecting abortion ain't shyt :mjlol: so what the fukk are we left to counter with?
Republicans aren't passing a border bill. Why would they? Didn't Trump stop crossings all by himself what do they need a bill for. They need to run on that problem again eventually. lol

Watch, he's gonna fukk something up because it's in his nature. Repubs don't gaf about making things better.

No, you just have some kind of disability that makes you unable to see anything beyond a left/right issue.

At this point in time the Rust Belt is probably only going to vote for a white man, unfair as that is, regardless of how far left or right he is.

My point is, it's not a left/right issue.

Bashing immigrants or trans people would not have won Kamala the election.
it's weird that you feel the need to jump to "bashing", when the correct stance is standing up for our border, and standing up for women

that is not "bashing". that is setting rules and boundaries, that are objectively correct, and the majority of people support. it's weird and emotional to refer to those things as "bashing" anyone
