This was the Dems short sightedness in full view. Everyone was screaming that Joe was too old to run again 2 years ago. Why did they wait 3 months till the election to finally force him to step down when everyone else saw it a mile away. It was political malpractice.

This isn't really fair, there's not a committee that could've made Biden to step down if he didn't want to.

A lot of people didn't want him to seek a second term but he just wouldn't listen until it was too late. It's not like the DNC could've forced him and he wasn't listening to anybody in 2022 telling him not to seek reelection.

Itd be nice if we could choose between progressives being too small a group of voters to be bothered with or progressives have enough numbers to sink elections by not voting in line with the party. Because I really don't see how it can be both ways
