Grocery prices don’t bother me, usually spend 400-600 a month for 3. Gas prices don’t bother (currently at 2.99 per gallon in Houston for premium). The only thing i want is lower interest rate for homes. If trump or anyone can atleast bring it to the 4’s minimum; I’ll be happy.

I collect 2 pensions, that will never change regardless who is in office.

I know Obama is sick to his stomach. He watched Trump trounce two different candidates who honestly were qualified to do the job. And he can’t do anything about it because he already served. I’m starting to think Obama maybe wasted his talent and came in too early and I know this thought has crossed his mind. Maybe he should’ve fell back and let Hilary run in 2008. Because we need a bonafide candidate like him right now something serious.

I can go back and find posts from four years ago when I said she was a poor VP pick. Not b/c of the implications in the 2020 election (I was confident Biden would win), but b/c I had little confidence she would be able to carry the torch in 4 years when Biden inevitably sundowned.

With this administration's numbers in the tank and Biden stepping aside, the party was given an opportunity to correct the wrong, turn the page fully on the ticket, and pick a candidate that provides a fresh alternative to both Biden and Trump (I think this was Pelosi's inclination). But they somehow convinced themselves Kamala who can't inspire a bird to fly could be forced down our throats.
