I hate how pissed off all this makes me and what annoys me more is people being pissed off at voters. Seeing people disrespect Arabs really making my blood boil for real. What the fukk is the point of a political party if they don't do politics and don't shape the narrative to help themselves? How the fukk are you so mad at voters and not the people whose job it is to persuade them?
This is always my perspective and why I don’t have beef with 3rd party voters. At the end of the day a politicians job is to win over voters.

The strategy of guilting people to vote for you has never worked. I hope one positive outcome of this is that guilting shyt goes away.

Actually who am I kidding? :mjlol: let the blame game commence.

Both my wife and I slept like shyt last night, this is crazy to believe. Visually, I thought PA was it, but the rural areas showed up along with the idea of the economy. Lots of closet Trump people out there and the economy is all they worry about. Dems didn’t do a good enough job with it.

Scary thing is that all Trump has to do is show a small tick down in goods and gas and he’s more of a God to these people than he already is.

I’m sad and this country might be fukked. But this is probably the only way democrats can learn a lesson. They thought Biden beating Trump meant everything they’re doing is fine. It still works. 2016 was just a fluke. No the base is dumber and more hateful than ever
They ran the same campaign Hillary lost on 8 years ago. They let a guy attempt to overthrow the government by force after losing last time and didn’t use the 14th amendment to bar him or his party from office. They attempted to do as little as possible to hide that they were throwing the race.

The question is will the democrats walk away from this election having learned the right lessons or will they continue down this path? I have my doubts but I still think they have a strong group for 2028.

yep

i remember in july, all that "we can't skip kamala and slight black women", without remotely taking into account that black women are only 7% of the general election, AND overrepresented in the south which doesnt matter electorally, AND who didn't even give a shyt about supporting kamala in the 2020 primary, and would have clearly supported newsom. that take ends up being incredibly embarrassing

BARS

I’ll never understand the strategy of appeasing black women. My wife is Jamaican and was never excited about Kamala… primary or general.

I told her last night that it’s irritating that some black women want to feel a sense of importance about this. They always want to feel they’re saving democracy or some shyt.

The reality is black women are voting 90% dem NO MATTER WHAT. Especially in an election like this. Throw a cac male up there and keep it moving. The sistas ain’t goin nowhere. Figure out what makes white women vote for you.
