I was ignoring the polls but I was wrong about the amount of that would be driven to vote against Trump for various reasons

You’re gonna go to the grocery store or Best Buy tomorrow and have a perfectly pleasant interaction with someone who voted different than you. You’ll wave someone on in traffic or smile at their dumb little kid as they walk by, perfectly nice people in our day to day interactions, sometimes they vote different than us.

The countries politics are divided, but overall I think the country will be fine. We literally went through this in 2016 and were all still here.

This is kind of pointless, we have largely advanced as a society where know how to be civil day to day. No one is truly expecting a race war to breakout or Segregation to return

After every election I’ve ever watched whatever party lost there is always talk about how the party is done and may never win again.

Against Trump? It kind of is. He beat them twice.

A lot of that is going to fall on weak strategy. Trump should not have even won in 2016.
Misinformation won them the election tonight and in 2016. Dems still have no idea how to fight that, they can't rely on Clinton/Obama politics and at this point, they probably should move from Obama era centrism. A lot of this is his posturing and doing by forcing Hillary. For his own sake, excellent orator but he played too nice with the ball.

I don't think it's a major contributing issue. A contributing one? sure. But no. At the end of the day people (latinos and women) felt more comfortable with Trump's economy.
