With all due respect, no you arent.

Your post refuses to acknowledge that around 100,000 people in Gaza are dead and that’s happened under Biden Administration and Harris has refused to distance herself from that. More images of kids without limbs? Let’s get Bibi more weapons. They are committing human rights violations? Let’s lie to Congress to keep the weapons flowing.

Everyone knows Trump is a liar and a monster. The issue you can’t wrap your head around is that Biden is a liar and a monster too and Harris agreed to keep it going.

"We have the Palestinians and we have everybody else rioting all over the place. You talk about Charlottesville. This is one hundred times Charlottesville," Trump said during a presidential debate in July, equating pro-Palestinian activism with a 2017 attack by White supremacists in Virginia.

“One thing I do is, any student that protests, I throw them out of the country. You know, there are a lot of foreign students. As soon as they hear that, they’re going to behave,” Trump said on May 14, according to donors at the event.

“Well, if you get me elected, and you should really be doing this, if you get me reelected, we’re going to set that movement back 25 or 30 years,” he said, according to the donors, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to detail a private event.

He has already promised to bring back a version of the Muslim ban, and this time would extend the immigration ban to include an "ideological screening" to weed out immigrants who sympathise with the Palestinian group Hamas.

The campaign promises he has made for a second term already emulate his previous remarks in 2016, when he said: "Islam hates us".

A look at Trump's first year in office shows that the former president disrupted longstanding political positions in the Middle East, and at the centre of those policy shifts, was Israel.

Trump received, and still continues to receive, major backing from the US evangelical Zionist movement. The Christian Zionist movement is a major force in conservative politics, experts told Middle East Eye during Trump's presidency.

And it was clear early on that Trump planned to make moves to energise that base. With the help of his son-in-law Jared Kushner, his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and his lawyer Jason Greenblatt, the administration went to work to see how they could further aid Israel.

Trump ended his first year in office with a landmark foreign policy move to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The decision broke from a decades-long bipartisan policy for US presidents to abstain from making the assertion, and the move was met with outrage from segments of the international community, including the Arab and Muslim world.

The businessman-turned-president then capitalised on this move months later by moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

In March 2019, he signed an executive order recognising Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

His policy shifts on Israel didn't just focus on Israel's claims on occupied land either, as the Trump administration also withdrew from the United Nations Human Rights Council, citing that the international body showed negative bias when it came to Israel.

One of his last moves in favour of Israel was to declare that products from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank had to be labelled "Made in Israel".

“If you empathize with radical Islamic terrorists and extremists, you’re disqualified,” he said. “If you want to abolish the state of Israel, you’re disqualified. If you support Hamas or any ideology that’s having to do with that or any of the other really sick thoughts that go through people’s minds – very dangerous thoughts – you’re disqualified.”

Please tell me how you think Trump will be better for Palestinians or Arabs...

As an independent who has always voted left, I hope tonight is eye opening for the Dems that they have to burn down the party and start over. This party is done.

We used to be able to have a meaningful conversation with someone who you didn’t agree with politically, now people don’t even want to look in their direction, and that’s because it stopped being about issues and started being about morality, race, and sexuality. Those are core beliefs, which make it hard to make both sides come together.

Throw in the fact that the right pulled at the average adults heartstrings by including children into the fact and fear mongering about abortion and trans kids (which are only 0.6-1.5% of the US population btw, strange hill to die on), it made the right feel like they’re voting to save their children from the big bad lady who wants to turn your children gay. Also, that “Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for YOU” tagline was flames, I can’t lie.

Ultimately, nights like tonight show how stupid your average American is, and how they can be easily misled by using emotion over logic. Welcome to hell.

Elon basically turning twitter into a right wing echo chamber also did not help and is concerning going forward.

This country is fukked

It was impossible to escape, I got so many right wing accounts blocked on twitter and other right wing accounts still showed up on my feed. Trump was plastered all over the app, no matter what you did, his ads were still there.
