It does. I am baffled why anyone would be shook at this.
A bunch of angry women showed up to vote against the party that destroyed Roe, and people are asking why the "unhappy with the direction of this country" number is high.
I'm usually cautious about these things, but you look at turnout, how Dems have had a boost in elections post-J6 and post-Roe, and I feel like it's a bit Chicken Little to get shook at those numbers.
Some polls have actually shown that certain Americans think that Democrats are a bigger threat to democracy than Republicans. What a country.
Republicans poll as equally concerned about democracy, but I guess because they think Democrats are stealing elections.
