For those who remember 2016, what were the telltale signs that he was winning pre Election Day? :francis: I really gotta brace myself for this
When those Dade County results were coming in and not moving the needle :beli:

Like I said earlier, I would pay attention to what NC/GA looks like tomorrow night. If she just wins one of those, Trump's chances become exponentially more difficult. If she wins both, she doesn't even need PA. She can damn near afford to lose every other swing state and still win (she needs to pick up one of MI/WI/AZ) If she loses both, it's gonna be a rough few days while the results for other states come in.

A lot more needs to go right for Trump than it does for Harris.

Those bookies are mostly middle-aged White men (who politically lean towards Trump/Republicans).

It means absolutely nothing.
:dead: i'm wondering what the fukking tradeoff is with the gambling markets

the actual gamblers are the guys you mentioned, crypto bros, etc....but are they really sacrificing money on a bad, emotional bet?

Almost all bookies have Trump still as favourite as of right now. What are they not seeing that the coli is :patrice:
Degenerate gamblers lean conservative/republican because it’s generally egotistical men that are putting money down on these type of things.

The people putting money on Trump are suckers betting with their heart not based on the data

Sports books adjust the line all the time to keep the money coming in. Trump as "favorite" gets the MAGA panties wet.

It's a mix of polymarket data, favorable polling and a couple of executives juicing the numbers

Again, im not entirely sure the current betting odds makers work in this fashion when there is big data involved . . . especially with the long odds given to Kamala at the moment. Bookies will lose big on Dem bets from the last couple of weeks should she win. Ill just repeat as I did a couple days ago, this landslide for Kamala is nowhere near what we are seeing in the general news coverage across the pond.

when Brexit passed, I turned to a friend and said that Trump could really win this shyt.

That whole year was fukking weird. Just a clear rise in right-wing sentiment and grievance

You combine that with Robby Mook running one of the worst campaigns of all time for a deeply polarizing candidate… :francis:
