Everybody is blaming white women, latinos, whoever. And that's somewhat valid.

But who we really have to blame is the Democrat, centrist establishment. They lost to Trump twice running to the center, courting Republicans instead of people who ACTUALLY VOTE FOR THEM.

Their theory of the case was DEAD WRONG, and it was PROVEN dead wrong by the past two elections. But did they listen? No. Because they are PETULANT CHILDREN.

They are NOT pragmatists. They are NOT adults. THEY are the ideologues, shoving their stupid fukking neocon ideas down our throats parading around Liz Cheney. THEY wanted it to be one way, but it's another way.

fukk them
I get what you are saying, but having lived for as long as I have, I've witnessed how deeply polarization has crept into our society, bringing with it a resurgence of open racism and misogyny that I can't ignore. It's become clear that, for many, voting is less about policies that could genuinely improve their lives and more about affirming a sense of identity that is increasingly racialized and gendered. This reality is painfully evident in the electorate's reluctance to support candidates who don't fit a narrow mold, especially women and Black women. Even Obama, despite his broad appeal in 2008, faced a drop in white support in 2012, and it was not over policy but due to identity-driven backlash - a whitelash to be specific.

While it's true that the Democratic establishment's centrist strategy has often alienated its base, this problem, I feel, goes beyond their outreach tactics. The deeper issue is that our society's identity biases continue to overshadow policy, creating a situation where voters may choose candidates who reinforce their sense of identity, even to their own detriment. This challenge is one I've seen harden over the years, making it difficult to move toward a future that prioritizes substantive change over superficial divisions. And I don't know how we get passed that. I know it's not happening in my lifetime.

The Diaspora

This image makes zero sense
If Kamala ran a centrist campaign (she did) and underperformed by 15 million votes …wouldn’t that lead to the conclusion that she didn’t turn out the democratic base?

Add to the fact that her opponent underperformed by millions as well

I hope the lesson democrats learn from this isn’t that “we need more Joe Manchins”

Don’t have to be A leftist either

Just be a damn democrat with a real message

Notice they waited for Trump win to announce this. Very soon the tantrum throwers will wish for Biden. Gaza annexation in full swing and he is not sworn in yet.
Atleast the dems and Biden were punished. The protests for what’s about to happen next should be over quick as the police (with immunity) do as the orange felon wishes.
This is how I know you disingenuous morons haven't been paying attention. This plan was exposed back in early September.

Israel planning to annex north Gaza, build settlements: report

Y'all are just crypto-Republicans who get tumescent at the thought of Brown people and progressive activists being brutalized. Get fukking lost.

You got major wins on this my Spanish friend.

Biden punished.

Genocidal administration getting the boot.

The person with the highest likelihood of liberating black people worldwide (your words, not mine) about to return to office.

Precious internet clout achieved :salute: today is a great day indeed

they're both happy that trump won. it taught biden and harris a lesson, for not groveling at the feet of Hamas terrorists.
Honestly, at least you're open with your anti-Arab racism and bigotry. What I can't stand are the other freaks posting in your corner pretending to be concerned for the Palestinian people or domestic protestors. That faux-concern is grating like a motherfukker.

Social media has destroyed the trajectory of being a post-racial society. It’s no coincidence that the millennials which is the most liberal generation was the last generation untainted by social media during our formative years while at the same time taught at an early age it’s wrong to be racist or judge people based off of their identity. Gen Z males have been completely corrupted and captured by right wing fake alpha bros

"anti-war rhetoric"? Guess I missed that. :patrice:
Trump is the perfect "Rorschach candidate." People see what they want to see in him. There is absolutely no way anyone making an honest assessment of him could view him as "anti-war," even in direct comparison to Biden and Harris.

It’s grating because we’re pointing out the hypocrisy. Now is show time, Trump has power and it’s been exposed Bibi has been Trump’s puppet the entire time. It’s time to protest the puppet master or will he get a pass now that the democrats have lost?
