Per Florida State Statute 775.13, any individual convicted of a felony in the State of Florida, any other U.S. state, a federal court, or any foreign state or country must register in person with the County Sheriff's Office within 48 hours of entering that county.

And be fingerprinted and photographed and list the crime for which convicted and place of conviction.

The failure of any such felon to comply with this section constitutes a second degree misdemeanor. Fla. Stat. Section 775.13(5)(a).
