Why. Polling showed that all year. I thought it was ridiculous and said so in this thread but clearly the polls were right and we were wrong.
It’s not just PA. Its everywhere. The down ticket strength of the dems is astounding.

BTW....can we get rid of South Carolina as the first primary now that Biden and his people are done? This entire process made it clear to me that black people are little more than pawns who are activated by a party that views them as children or sheep. When it's time to argue that Biden withdrawing would be anti-black (despite the fact that it would elevate Kamala), you trot out black people to make the argument. And then when it's time to argue Kamala should be the nomination now that Biden has dropped out because she's the black choice....you trot out the same black people to make the argument. You know what that sounds like to me? "Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia." Not to mention this insufferable "listen to black women" shyt.
this party apparently has a real problem with differentiating the difference between the primary, and the general election

i wasn't trying to be out of pocket in july, and come off like i was downplaying black women. i was trying to talk about the fukking general election. if we're gonna be about identity politics, how about looking at the overall numbers of the country? that's literally step 1

Yes I refused to vote for Biden because of Gaza. But I did I vow for Kamala.

Now, please stop acting like a bitter ex girlfriend and get off my dikk.
this is embarrassing, tbh. you "couldn't bear" to vote for biden, but you voted for kamala, who had the same exact position on israel :mjlol:

A woman can win. I do not buy that at all.
Unfortunately, we ran 2 in almost 9 years and lost. We can't do this again.
I'm fine with this. And btw, I'm not even sure a woman can win a competitive primary. Hillary ran against one idiot who didn't understand basic things about American politics (like the fact that you cannot win without the south in either the GOP or dem primaries). Kamala didn't have a primary. Could she have won in an open primary process that started last year thru Jan-May 2024? Maybe, but I doubt it. So basically you have two women who probably don't win without a weak field or being crowned. Biden would have smoked Hillary in 2015/2016, and I can imagine Shapiro or Pritzker or even Whitmer beating Kamala. Her main advantage would be that she'd have the black vote initially but that could change.

I don't want to hear any of that shyt again and I would BEG every non-white 2028 candidate to not fall for this shyt. Stop platforming people whose entire professional focus is on being invited to White House parties.

This. That shyt is so fukking annoying. I would add being invited to MSNBC also.
Hard agree! You notice too! It's the same black people in DC, NY and Boston that have been working for the Democrats forever saying these things. They are relying on getting mad for THEM to maintain power and access. If Biden was such a good candidate, why mess with the primaries? Why did appear only white Democrats wanted to replace him when in real life that wasn't the case? All these black consultants need to keep the money coming in.

Black people (especially black women) are a major part of dem politics...but not the only part! Know humility and when to step aside.

It's time the dems to center latinos and get those votes back. 46 percent for this guy is insane!

Exactly, let's not descend in to the conspiracy theory loving lunatics that we mock MAGA for being.

This is simple: the vote splitting happened because the top of the ticket was weak. The congressional candidates were discussing pocketbook issues, not Liz Cheney and J6.

It’s vibes bro. We’re thinking about this as some 4-D equation but it’s not that serious for the average American. The average voter liked Trump’s swag and charisma. That’s why he won period. Other than the racists, they don’t even know what his policy is other than immigration and economy.

Gavin has the swag to be president. If we lived in a sane, educated society then yes he would lose but Gavin is the type of dude that would go on Joe Rogan, Theo Von and those other low info right wing podcasts and get them to agree with him on his ideas

If Gavin or Shapiro comes out of this next cycle as the governor who stood up to fascism then it’ll be their nomination to lose unfortunately

The same rule doesn’t apply for dem candidates imo. Gavin doesn’t have the look. He’s too polished. And he’s not gonna beat the coastal elite tag that somehow doesn’t apply to Trump. It definitely is 4D chess for our side.

2024 Trump has more votes than 2020 Biden in swing states by hundreds of thousands of votes yet he still has less votes than 2020 Biden nationally. Interesting.

Rural cacs in swing states came out substantially but rural cacs in red states stayed home?
