You’re preaching to the choir bro. I’m a fukking warehouse supervisor. My nikkas were in PAIN. Even I felt the squeeze of the economy. Outside of straight up sending out checks, most economic policy trickles slowly. But people flat out got raises last year because of the Biden administration. And it doesn’t change the fact that shyt could have been worse. Instead of just dealing with inflation, we could have dealt with inflation, a recession and high unemployment too.

I’m not saying he will go down as the best ever and you’ll never get me to defend his foreign policy, but history will look back at this past four years much more favorably than his approval rating.
To get proper context we need to know who the best President of his lifetime is. A question you won’t get a straight answer to.

You still flip flopping between Progressives destroyed the party and Gaza supporters dont have actual influence.

There is no flip-flopping, I told you this wasn't about Gaza. When I said sowing division didn't help matters.... I wasn't only speaking on Gaza, I was speaking on the entirety of Biden's 4 years where even his accomplishments were drowned out..

Progressives should have been touting the most union-friendly President our of lifetime. They should have been celebrating his wins. Instead it was complain, complain...complain...

Oh.. and @Smoking With Cigarettes you want to talk about influence. Let's talk about it. Most of the progressive agenda in this country died on Tuesday and you should realize this. It's not something to be celebrated. The country just shifted to the right even in NYC and Jersey. It's over. 2028 will be a fight to the center or center-right.

Trump's ad about she's for they/them... Trump is for you just went diamond in the battlegrounds and people in here thinking the answer will be to shift further left... Lol

It WILL NOT HAPPEN... Bernie, Warren, AOC... etc... they were supposed to have the finger on the pulse of gen z and what happened? They allowed YouTube streamers and Joe Rogan to run poisonous misinformation campaigns unchallenged.

It's over.

We’ll see.

My big issue is the American president keeps getting worse and that’s because we are slowly being boiled.

I really think if someone came forward with a transformational vision, this can be reversed.

This board bordered on echo chamber post DNC to a point that I just rode out the vibes and hoped Kamalas people and internals knew what they were doing. I get a lot of people in here are coping and venting but these takes are absurd. Blaming the left wing of the party for sounding the alarm that Kamlas campaign shift/Non-answer Gaza stance would alienate voters is peak Democratic Party behaviour. The cherry on top is the confusion as to why she didn't get enough votes
They are wannabe James Carvilles who don’t believe in anything and see politics as the NFL. We are in a nightmare spiral as a nation with the MAGAs on one side and people who live in an echo chamber.

I actually commend his domestic agenda. I mean he passed the Chips Act, Rescue Plan, infrastructure Act, etc.

He saved union pensions and even walked the picket line. They in turn paid him back by stabbing him in the back. :heh:

I think the kind of changes progressives want are structural changes which are only possible if the stupid American people elect a progressive president. But the American electorate has not demonstrated that they are capable of electing a progressive president.

Look at California, the dumb asses cry day and night about housing costs and wages, and they voted against ballot measure to address both of these issues.

The root of the problem is not the politicians. It’s the stupidity of voters , the placing of cultural issues over economic ones and their down right gullibility.
