OK. I already showed you how these Michigan Muslims support Republican book bans. Let’s see how much they cry when the republicans set up their wins.

September 19, 2024:

again, I keep asking…whats the future of Arab/muslims in the democratic coalition in the future? Socially, politically?

September 22, 2024:

Again…I ask… what’s the goal of including Muslims in the big democratic tent?

I knew this was going to be a problem.

Why are they in the Big Tent? Can someone tell me what I as a liberal democrat get out of this?

I still struggle with this. It would have come down to Newsom, Whitmer, Harris. I still think black women would have held the party hostage and made sure she ended up the nominee. They can't see pass their own bias. Not aware that the country wouldn't accept her.
That wouldn't have happened because Kamala didn't win a single state in the previous primary.

You gotta give it to them, they saw Liberals' pathological need to hug and love Republicans and created a business model on grifting them.

Maybe now that the strategy has failed twice we can go back to fukking war against Republicans? That would be nice.

It would be nice to vote for a Democrat that's not ashamed to be a Democrat.

They wanted Biden and they said black women would stay home if Kamala was not the nominee.

Seems like everyone else stayed home.

So it's the fault of black people (by far Dems most loyal constituency) that Dems lost?
Black people wanted Biden in 2020, not 2024. Trash takes like that are partially why the Bernie wing struggles despite having good policies. :francis:

Kamala was the nominee because Biden dropped out too late to have a convention and she happened to be the VP.

I know she would have lost in a primary but the likelihood of nominating another woman was there. The end result would have been the same. The girl boss era is done

Can't compare it to 2020. In 2020 she was a Senator in a crowded field. In 2024 she's the VP with a much higher profile. Black women would have automatically seen her as next in line.
