Of course, but can't take any chances moving forward.
Breh if a rapist guy with 37 felonies and no actual policy can garner the most votes in american history there ain’t much the dems can do other than court the nasty cacs themselves.

White folks voted in white P.Diddy.

There’s no combating that :francis:

He's right. White identity politics will always win out in this country.

What exactly can Dems do to get more white people to vote for them?

Unless you want Dems to start shytting on minorities I don't really know.

Nah, I didn't win shyt. We all lost. :francis:

Just take this as a lesson to not be overly arrogant next time.

He might've done better than Kamala by sheer virtue of being a man.
Would women come out to vote for him though?

This is what I don’t think people are getting. apathy wasn’t Kamala’s problem, her coalition was energized. The issue is that we don’t have the numbers to out vote racists and misogynists.

Once we accept this fact we can strategize going forward. How do we make people less racist and misogynistic?

I think the answer is white male supremacy has to fail spectacularly for the country to wake up from its fever dream. This is going to be a rough 4 years but maybe the silver lining is that America will finally have its come to Jesus moment and realize that propping up mediocre white men is not the answer.

Dems may have fukked up but how perfect do you have to be to beat a pos like trump? Like how many times does he get a pass and dems have to be on their best behavior. shyts tiring.
They were on anything but their best behavior. Refusing to deal with a pandemic, sedition, an ally being invaded, refusing to deal with a rogue judiciary, refusing to go all out to handle student debt, refusing to fix our electoral system, and then bankrolling genocide. They did all of this while chasing the endorsements of George bush’s cabinet too. These guys threw the election the same way they did in 2016 and tried to in 2020.

White identity politics won this election. It’s just crazy to see progressive point to thing Kamala did wrong like any of that stuff matters

The playbook remains largely the same. You have to find enough rural white people that will vote Dem.

Thinking Shapiro would have made a difference with this electorate is just cope

Dems turned out their voters but more people came out to vote against them.

High turnout helps the GOP

Dems are doing well in midterms and special elections that are LOWER turnout

Akhi you still second guessing my political acumen. :francis:

they remember those prices and that's all they want not knowing it's prob never going to happen. A lot of people are going to get fukked by them tax rates too

I said on here and in the real world too…we’re going to look at Covid the same way we did 9/11…pre-Covid and post.

Certain things and ways are never coming back and people aren’t accepting that.

Cap . Bernie sweeping the rust belt with his working class policies
Bernie basically set Biden’s domestic economic agenda and America has rejected it.

With all due respect you can’t be a black man and still think it was the economic policies that was the determining factor in this election

It’s one thing to say you voted for Trump because you’re dissatisfied with the current administration’s handling of the economy but

All this shyt about likability of Kamala needs to be called out for what it is.

Trump wins because he’s aspirational.

He’s an intellectually mediocre, yet rich, white man who appeals to their base impulses. He says everything they’ve always wanted to say with zero repercussions.

They love that machismo shyt that reminds them of the old days before the world got “so sensitive”

Its the Dems fork in the road. Be moderste enough to take votes from Repiblicans or progressive enough to turnout more voters. Kamala's campaign was a chance to see how/if double dipping works. It doesnt seem like it but we'll know more in the coming days where thingd went off tbe rail exactly

Biden governed as the most economic progressive of our lifetime and what did that get him? A swift kick in the ass out the door and a low approval rating.

There isn’t some magical policy Kamala could have ran on to win.

This fukking country is RACIST AND MISOGYNISTIC

What about universal healthcare? Free college and loan forgiveness? A federal minimum wage? No genocide?

I think if she ran on those “magical” policies, she would have won. By landslide. :francis:
