Wasn't this dummy a Trump supporter? I'm confused :dahell: :why:

In general, part of the reason I think he's going to lose is that the sentiment in May and June were "Man, it sucks we have to pick between these two"
Kamala isn't the best, but she's at least younger and Trump is still there as the old candidate. Most of her posturing seemed around the time Biden was nominee.

The Democrats are a pro-war party so there's not really anything they can actually do to credibly combat Trump's claims on this issue, especially not right now. They didn't tone down the anti-war rhetoric out of political expediency, they did it because they don't believe it and are perpetually annoyed at being the "p*ssy party" so they purposefully marginalize the anti-war segment of their coalition. The Military Industrial Complex has a patronage over both political parties, so Trump was able to buck bipartisan orthodoxy in 2016 and project as a "circuit-breaker" to capture the anti-war high ground, although it's somewhat less credible now that he has a full term record of also engaging in militarism. But yeah, I also see a lot of independent/undecided/unaffiliated voters talk about this as a reason they consider Trump. It's one of his strongest cards to play. :francis:

you think the guy who made the drone program less transparent and assassinated Iran's Military general is anti-war?

I'm legit concerned that Republicans may be successful in pulling off their coup, even if Kamala wins.

Speaker Johnson is an establishment mole like Pence. Johnson has bent too many times with the democrats to make me believe he’ll burn the constitution for Trump

Ive been seeing comments from conservatives that seem confident about the election say things like this. A quote from reddit: "The RCP "This Day In History" is telling. In 2016, it was Clinton + 1.6. In 2020, it was Biden +7.9. Today, its Trump +0.6"

Can anyone break that down for me?

Hillary was ahead in the polls by more than Harris is right now.

Does this mean Trump will win? Dunno, it depends on if the polls are off again :yeshrug:

I don’t know all of the ins and outs but my understanding is the election would essentially have to be an electoral college tie or come down to one disputed state. Looking more like Kamala will get 300 EC votes IMO

Plus smart money says Hakeem Jeffries will be sworn in as speaker a few days prior

Thank goodness these corrupt punks couldn’t pull this off in 2021
