It's been years buddy, you can admit Warren ran a shytty campaign and is a bad politician. It's ok. I agree with her on a variety of things but she's...not good at this, and her campaign imploded on her own accord. Like Howard Dean was at one point, she's better off behind the scenes influencing policy than being front and center.

Nah, we not gonna bash Howard Dean. As a Warren G, her campaign was terrible because of the fact she saw too many white Republicans as relatable individuals during a Democratic primary. She spent way too much time pleading for them to see things her way, not releasing her platform during debates (instead doing so during “town halls” to create buy-in for the moment), and boxing herself into a candidate for a cabinet position that the elites would never let her close to. Quite honestly, she spent zero time trying to appeal to people who thought like her. That’s how bad her campaign was.

Howard Dean is the opposite: 20 years ago your campaign would sink because you made a weird noise getting over-excited hyping up your crowd. His campaign was groundbreaking. Using the internet, grassroots organizing with small groups, and focused small donor participation. With better overall organization, he would have fared better.

This is the same guy who was pushed out as DNC because even though he was successful at the only part of his plan they let him execute, The 50 state strategy on for the House and Senate. He was a menace that wanted to take it to Republicans on every level: local, state, and national. He wanted to tailor the message to audiences while having the legislation they wanted to pass already ready to go. He wanted to find new, younger candidates to replace the old guard. And all we got was bytching from people who have held on for too long and refuse to pass down institutional knowledge while allowing outsiders to primary young “troublemakers”.

Howard Dean was a visionary as a campaigner who fell victim to the need for news for 24 hour news cycle, and now we see the position the country sits because of it.

Yaaaahhhhh……..

Nevada is confusing idk what's going on there. I'm positive about all other states tho. Could be due to the closing during covid backlash

Seniors voting in huge numbers. Also Nevada has automatic voter registration at DMV and if you don’t specify a party, you are registered as indie.

Again, I want to show humility because I've been wrong before and I can easily be wrong again. And obviously, the current environment is better for Republicans because of the immigration, inflation, and arguably, perceptions about crime.

However, I think the Trump campaign's strategy of relying on low propensity voters, and also outsourcing turnout/organization is probably going to lead to a blowout:
  • The gender gap is disastrous for Trump, not only because the gender gap amongst female voters (in Kamala's favor) is bigger than the one amongst males (in Trump's favor), but also because women are more likely to turn out than men
  • Biden then, and Kamala now, are both doing better with older people, who are also more likely to turn out than younger people
  • Biden then, and Kamala now, do better with highly information, politically engaged citizens. Also more likely to turn out than the vice versa. Trump thrives on low information voters who don't get their news from traditional news sources.
  • Tied in to the above point, educated voters (also likely to be more politically engaged), who are now more likely to support Democrats, and more likely to turn out than vice versa
  • We are now seeing polls that say Independents are breaking towards Kamala
  • We are also seeing polls that say that she may be doing better with Black and Latino men than we previously assumed based on polling
I think she is going to win this election and the current polling is underestimating her support.
I agree. There are a lot of things lining up for Kamala to give him an ass whooping. Yes she can lose. Yes she can win close. But I think the possibility of an ass whooping in her favor is higher than one might initially think.

The sheer irony in your post is mind boggling. :wow:
Because apparently MLK was exploiting years of humanitarian aid to buy weapons, sending groups to attack peckerwoods at the dinner, and take children hostage for decades of oppression.:gucci:

You can condemn Israeli and Oct 7th. Neither of those things are mutually exclusive.

There is no reality where attacking innocent woman and children is justified no matter how feel about it. It still fukk Israel for being right wing genocidal tyrants, but attacking a music festival is completely abhorrent and barbaric.

Israel bombing hospital, schools, and every university in Palestine is every bit of unredeemable. Blocking humanitarian aid to starve out people and children. Killing news reporters, women, and children deserves to get all weapons aid AND weapon sales from United States completely cut.

So, defending OCt 7th in any way or form is absolutely disgusting. Not just for innocent casuality of that day, but the consequences it brought to Gaza by a right wing tyrant that was looking for any reason to commit genocide. Gaza didn't deserve or need any of this.

You want to sit on a false equivalence that Hamas are completely justified in doing what they did on Oct 7th? Cause that's completely unnecessary.

Hamas had every right to retailate against their oppressor, but this has turned into a horrific situation wanting of their pound of flesh. Israel turned Gaza in to a tomb, and I'm waiting for the day that they get their pound of karma for the all the suffering that they caused. Right now, it looks like it'll be a long game of political theatre for that to happen. I understand that most people don't have energy or patience to have to watch more suffering everyday with 80,90,100+ new deaths. It's still the only path forward and I grieve for them..

Nobody has to defend Oct. 7th, because we are way beyond that.
