That's what it all boils down to. The leftist movement was killed when Trump became president. That sucked all the air out the room and now the dominant political energy in this country is focused on anti-Trump sentiment. We've seen it in every election cycle since 2016 and Roe v Wade's end only made it stronger. Ask yourself...when is the last time you saw a real discussion over universal healthcare? What was the last big climate change policy proposal? That shyt is dead now. And honestly it seems like policy debates have largely died on the right too, with 95% of conservative energy focused on culture war bullshyt (trannies, DEI, Disney, etc).

The dominant leftist focus right now is on Gaza. An issue the vast majority of Americans aren't focused on, but every leftist organization is now targeting. We're at a point where even the remaining fringe climate change orgs have decided discussing climate change is wrong right now, and all focus has to be on Gaza. It's insane.
