Its simple. Kamala's base is enthusiasm to vote, vs. Trump's which is a mixed bag of Yes/Not Really but fukk the Democrats/Nope. Its not just enthusiasm to vote, but to ask friends to register and vote, along with Early Voting and Absentee.
Really all this campaign for Trump at the moment is polls... and more polls. But you really don't hear much about the ground game. You see Trump going on social media and podcasts to outreach, but really you don't see the enthusiasm in comparison to Kamala's base.
Does it lead to a Harris win, no. But it sure gives support and confidence that a campaign is going well... and that people will take time out of their lives to vote for you.
I just don't see it out of Trump, and if your relying on polls as the outlier... then I am sure your going to be surprise when Trump loses and by a sizeable margin.
