Yeah man, you got it. You figured it all out. Congratulations.

Back to memes and gifs. What you’re best at.

Thanks for saving our thumbs the agony of having to scroll through more blocks of mind numbing text while also granting us the chance to ponder how exactly a man from an unknown European country goes from vigorously advocating for the election of Trump in order to make things better for black people across the globe to standing on his soapbox to lecture black Americans on why they don’t know what’s best for them.

Some questions we may never get the answer to. WATTBA indeed.

2024 AOC really leveled up :wow:
Grifting big empty ideas just ain't ever been her game. She wants real change. Going through these big cycle of winning and losing power. Getting super close to a point of no return this election cycle before committing to change. Got her looking at the big picture.

Having big ideas don't mean anything if you don't win the American vote. It's even worse when the opposition are extremely destructive to democracy. You either make concessions to be more inclusive to win or you keep losing.

Progressive movement in America moves at a snails pace. My family only got the right to vote not even 60 years ago. You have to chip away at progress.

If companies can hold you accountable(not billionaire CEO) for what you post on the Internet. I don't understand how politicians and news station are allowed spread disinformation. This needs to be addressed.

The Disinformation Era is rotting out our democracy and the American people. Republican figured this out with poorest, worst education state being blindly loyal to them. It's no surprise they want to create more poverty through abortion bans, destroy education, and union busting.

Republican biggest enemy are educated voters.

For example "Defund the Police" is one of the biggest acts of political suicide in the existence of liberal ideas.

It's always the extreme language of ideas that turn off voters when "Reform The Police" is much effective language and it would actually work.
I remember the debates about that. Such simpler times. nikkas was furious people said hey maybe it’ll be easier to influence the change you want to see if you don’t make it so easy for your enemies to distort the conversation. And nikkas was like nope :mjlol:

In context maybe we were arguing with people not from here and that explains it.

It should of been a bad sign when you had to tell people defund the police doesn’t really mean defund the police. :dead:

Definitely interesting to see the two different strategies of each side in in terms where they stand in the race

Dems basically saying we’re the underdogs and we are just gonna try to somehow eek out a victory

Republicans saying it’s landslide there is no way they can lose
My advice is to actually listen to Democrats close to the campaign (and/or with previous campaign experience). They aren't pulling a rope-a-dope. They are telling us publicly that despite the changed landscape, we still have an uphill battle, and that momentum in Democratic circles != being (comfortably?) ahead. We need to get more independent/undecided/unlikely voters to turn out to win in key states.

There have been numerous quotes in this thread but each time they were written off as not knowing what they are talking about because they were on Clinton's campaign or just trying to run the score up, etc. That is why your disdain/distrust for every Nate Silver tweet is so ironic.

Nate’s not trying to hear the Kamala +6 poll today :mjlol:

And here's a clear example that Nate did include the Dems +6 poll in his model contrary to what you insinuated:
