I don't think anyone thinks Kamala is guaranteed to win or anything, it was going to be an uphill battle against Trump regardless.

But Kamala has a higher ceiling. People's opinions on Biden are set in stone, Kamala could move up in the polls. Kamala might lose, but Biden was almost guaranteed to lose.
Explain the white people that were going to vote for Biden, but will not vote for Harris?

Seeing reports Kamala will boycott Netanyahu

This goes back to the point I made yesterday. This combined with Biden securing a ceasefire until at least the end of the year will ease baggage, let the new nominee carve out a foreign policy platform and vision and picking Beshear over Shapiro could potentially sway some younger voters for which that’s a single issue, pull in leftists who were going to not vote president or vote Claudia and maybe swing Michigan.

She’ll probably reaffirm herself as a Zionist to not alienate aipac money and Jewish zionists in America, but Netanyahu is wildly unpopular so it’s a calculation they may be willing to make.
