followed pretty closely. read his memoir years back and followed the trial and the testimony. Fascinating story. I agree with both ideas that the prosecution is solid, but this should never be on trial. But neither should the 34 counts of falsifying business records. These are plea and deferred prosecution cases. It's partly on the defendants who want to go to trial.
The irony about the gun charges for Hunter Biden is it’s a direct result of the same policies that those persecuting him have forced.
Imagine if they actually kept their databases up to date and performed actual checks.

I think what I am saying is on track with what the article is saying. These aren't cases that would routinely be brought to trial. If it wasn't Hunter Biden or a former president. I think I can say that without being a "both sider".
partly prosecutorial overreach and partly the defendants arrogance. There's a lot of similarities, not between the two men (but ego yes) but between the cases themselves. They dragged Trumps sexual history for a bookkeeping charge, and dragged Biden's sexual/drug history, his girlfriend, his daughter for a bullshyt procedural charge.
