Does anyone think Trump's Lawyers will beg him to take a plea deal? I know his ego won't allow it but he has to know this is hurting his campaign no matter how much right wing media is trying to spin it. The split screen right now is Biden campaigning while Trump is on Trial.

I know he puts up that "Big Man/Alpha/Never lose" persona but at the end of the day, Trump is about Trump and if his survival means taking a plea I wouldn't rule it out. Politically this isn't good for him. You can tell by the reporting, even people that support him know this isn't good.

Yeah I don’t think Trump ever thought it would get this far. Frankly neither did I. Probably why reports say he looks so bad physically. I wouldn’t rule out a plea bargain because his cult would go along with any excuses and justifications he makes after.

Imo if Trump does get a last minute deal it would be probation and a suspended sentence. Weisselberg pleaded guilty to pretty much the same thing as well as perjury and only got 10 total months. Trump doesn't have a record, is a former POTUS and is running for POTUS now. A judge isn't going to jail him at all before November
You're likely right but objectively, running for presidency shouldn't be an excuse to not go to jail.
