They really keepin it real about Trevor Lawrence on Speak

:laff:

That bum Trevor Lawrence doesn’t deserve $55 million a year. Gardner Minshew has better numbers than him

so now we turn our attention to Jordan Love. reading PFT it was said he was unsure he would play the season with the contract he has now
he's been participating in like the training stuff but we all know this could change during training camp

At some point, owners are gonna have to start hiring QB genius’s as Co-GM to find the next big thing every 5 or so years. Because that cap hit is gonna be stupid when you gotta pay up.

I know it ain’t easy getting a franchise QB.. but how many teams in the NFL are pushing dynasties?

I forgot Matt Stafford was wanting more money too.

"Reports emerged this offseason that Stafford isn't happy with a contract that currently pays him the same average annual salary as Daniel Jones ($40 million) and is particularly low on guaranteed money by recent standards. He's also 36 now. And despite a surprising resurgence last season, the post-Aaron Donald Rams may have seen their true Super Bowl window close. With that in mind, it's easy to envision Stafford lobbying his way out or the Rams pushing him out, particularly if L.A. comes back to earth a year removed from a five-win campaign."

Actually not as bad as I thought

He doesn't deserve this contract but it's better than the alternative
There's no way his deal should have taken him to the top of AAV. The Jags should have been negotiating as though the Goff number was the ceiling, not like Trevor was coming off a season like he did in 2022.

I agree 100%

But QB coddling is the way of the world in NFL front offices. By paying him less, there's this sense of "we don't trust you" and that makes teams feel like it prevents a QB from performing to their full capability. Bullshyt, but that's how they think.

Stroud had an all-time rookie season, but he talks a lot for a guy that's been in the league for one year. We've seen this before with teams that surprise one season and then regress the next year.

I don't think it's a sure thing the Texans win that division or make the playoffs.:manny:.
Stop it :mjlol:

Will Levis

1 legged unproven Richardson
