Only difference is Texas =/= South Carolina. Cruz only won reelection by about 2% in 2018. Allred is within the Margin of error in most of these polls. Would be nice for him to kick Cruz to the curb but I don't see it happening this cycle.

Living in Austin, we getting a lot of Allred and Cruz ads. A surprising amount. There is a Cruz supporting PAC ad that has Allred tackling a girl at a flags football game. Cruz is making it back trans people while Allred is focusing on the border and abortion.
