Dudes simply don’t understand that getting a push doesn’t mean they have consistently good booking. That’s the point of what I was discussing with @Easy-E: booking consistency.

Rhea and GUNTHER been booked well after their pushes, but Jey is a perfect example of inconsistency. It wasn’t until this recent storyline with GUNTHER he was finally doing something, but even then no one expected him to win the Rumble. Let’s not forget these dudes cried all of last year about how he was booked. :mjlol:

Wrestlers can get pushes, there’s no denying Trips has done that, but that’s not the discussion.

And some people confuse "good booking" with "my favorite wrestler should win all the time". Meanwhile, there's wrestlers who took plenty of Ls and it did not affect them in the long run because they were still made to look credible- the greatest example being John Cena, who spent most of '02 and '03 doin' the job to Angle, Taker, Lesnar, Eddie, and Benoit on SmackDown and getting over the whole damn time. By today's social media expectations, they woulda thought his career was cooked... even tho' he went on to be a star that people HATED because of how much he was pushed. But he was also being pushed when he was taking those Ls because most of the other heels on the show weren't getting NEAR that much airtime or being put with all those guys he had feuds with.

[WON] Miro and CJ Perry were under the impression that they would be put together as a pair on-screen following Worlds End 2023 and be pushed as a top act in AEW. That never happened and when she was let go, Miro made it clear he also wanted out.

well if he was turning down creative left and right [allegedly], how could they be pushed?

Is this becoming an annual thing for them? They did this last year around this time with Scott d'Amore
Streets trying to figure out how much WWE is involved with this round of TNA shakeups :patrice:

This just made sense to do. Not everything has to be overthought or over convoluted :snoop:

Only thing different this time is Triple H is booking instead of Cokeboy. Soon enough everyone is gonna be complaining about their booking in WWE.
:unimpressed:
Both companies need to do a better job with Stables to utilize more of their roster. AEW did them really well their first few years but has been lacking lately.

Negativity (Kayfabe)

Again, I hear about how "there's no more room for ______________" in any real capacity but two bums come from AEW and the computers putin' for them.

Again, I barely believe these sheets, but, my point stands.

People aren't crazy when they critique these booking decisions.

That's just what comes with being the booker, I think. It's a thankless job in a sense- if they get over, it's all because of their talent and nothing else but if they don't, it's 100% the booker's fault. People online for the last 20-25 years swore Vince was (in addition to being the devil) a completely out-of-touch dinosaur whose mind was still stuck in the 80s. HHH came along and everyone acted like all their prayers had been answered, and now people are legit goin' "it wasn't like this with Vince". :russ:If HHH turned the book over to Michaels, it would be the same thing as soon as somebody they like wasn't holding eight belts at the same time.

nobody should care about W’s & L’s..it’s like battle rap..i don’t think anybody is going on cagematch looking that stuff up

at least for the established wrestlers..Melo was taking L’s for awhile
