It's been known. Of course people will choose when or what dirsheets to believe and when not to believe but it's been an open secret. That's why Starks was off TV.
But one thing people lied about, they said Starks wasn't allowed to work indies and that wasn't the case. Starks has worked indies.

He left the USA to move back to Bulgaria after he split with Lana. So don’t know if he will want to go back to the WWE and have to move back to the USA.

Doing WWE a favor by handing them his contracted talent when they want them. WWE isnt obligated to AEW's roster. If a talent clearly made a deal with WWE while under contract to me (Penta and Fenix in August), of course im going to sit them down. What if a report came out about AJ Styles having a deal done with AEW with a storyline and merch already set up, what do you think would happen?

That’s basically what happened with Ricochet but they didn’t tack on any injury time or run any real interference. Ospreay was very public calling him over for another match etc before his deal was even up
