I said going into the year if First cousins can’t win this division with this team that he’s a fraud. It’s even worse now with Tampas injuries. They should run away with the NFC South.

I'm a bit surprised about the discourse around Jerod Mayo and his comments about the team being "soft" and his performance this year. I don't think it was the worst comment in the world, and I'm not sure what people expected from this team? They were clearly not going to be a very good team this year. There's a reason they had the #3 overall pick.

It takes time to build a team and develop the young players. Not every team is going to immediately turn it around after a poor season.

That’s the problem though.

The coach calling his team soft reflects badly on him as well, so I never understood why coaches try and use it as a motivation tactic.
