The chargers made a philosophical choice when they picked Alt. They said elite OT>elite pass catcher. That was the standard answer for most of nfl history, but I don’t think that’s the case today.

Their offensive line with Alt and Slater is still ass and they can’t score.

They had to dump several players to get under the cap. This season was basically a soft rebuild so drafting a WR wouldn't accomplish much. You get a lineman you can have for long term because WR's are more readily available and the coach wants to be a more run focused team.

They probably should have gone full rebuild though and moved Mack and Bosa.

I'm so tired of these effete analytics white boy nerds and the way they talk about football. Gone are the days of poetic sports writers painting a picture, telling a story, driving a narrative while weaving some stats in here or there. Instead we got losers like this who try not to talk about stats and then throw in all the jargon and phrases they can't stop parroting. Efficiency. Play inside/outside structure. Aggregate. Shut the fukk up dude.

Why wouldn’t drafting a stud WR accomplish much? We have seen rookie WR’s come in and make impacts.
