If Pennix played in the SEC and Daniels was at Washington and they had the same seasons, there is zero chance Penix doesn't win.

Daniels did have a lot of TD passes against Grambling, Georgia State, and Army though.

I don't know why these guys are acting like Penix and Nix didn't run up their stats on Michigan St., Arizona St, USC, Hawaii, Stanford, Tulsa and Boise St.

Daniels scored 17 touchdowns against Group of 5 teams, including 8 against Georgia State where he was still throwing TDs in the 4th quarter with a 40-point lead.

Penix scored just 8 touchdowns against Group of 5 teams, and most of those were against Boise State which is 3x better than any Group of 5 team Daniels played.

This was literally his Heisman moment. The Georgia State game won him the award.




Look at the score and time. He's throwing his 8th touchdown of the game with 9 minutes left in the 4th, up 40 against the last-place team in the Sun Belt East.


Over 1/3 of Daniels's touchdowns this year came against Group of 5 teams.

I liked Daniels at ASU, I remember watching him during the USC game and looking like "who the hell is this dude?" I knew he would shine when he moved over to LSU.

with that being said, Penix got robbed, he's the best player in the NCAA, including Caleb, yea I said it. You will see in the NFL and you can save this message. People are paying attention to numbers, I am paying attention to mechanics, vision, composure, release. Penix is ready for the next level. This guy slings darts with a trigger arm and receivers barely open and nails it.
