Maybe MCMG will transition to coaches at some point. I can see them doing very well in NXT and then much of nothing on the main roster. I'm sure they just want to say that they had a legit run in WWE.

Of course, if they went to AEW, they would have just ended up on Rampage/ROH or sitting at home.

Signing with WWE wouldn't be a prerequisite for getting a legends deal - see Muta. He got a legends deal and never stepped foot in a WWE ring.

Muta was in WCW tho so you have to factor that in since WWE owns that library.

Myron Reed has had matches in ASÉ and TNA, so I'm sure his name will start to ring some bells. I could see him showing up in NXT or AEW at some point.
