I believe Correa or bogearts gonna be a cub there’s too much smoke from local reporters for it not to happen. Books clear cubs got dough to spend they can give out a 35-40 aav contract easily right now

Can someone explain to me why Jacob DeGrom to the Rangers is a possibility? Aren't they a losing team a few years away from competing? Why would DeGrom sign there? They don't strike me as an team that's one ace away from competing...
