why dont the dems ever attack republicans :why: think about how republicans actually talk about democrats. can you imagine if it was reversed?

Democrats don’t hate Republicans like that. That’s not going to motivate them to vote for the Dems.

Bush Jr was mocked relentlessly as incompetent but he still won re-election. But the GOP brand kept going.

Republicans have spent decades making voting for a Dem a derogatory action. That’s why they have a lock on state like Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama. They aren’t going to reverse or make that up in two years.

Not only that, but the media defaults to the republican pov under the guise of playing 'both sides.' They'd absolutely torch a Democrat if they pulled this shyt.

When McConnell was Senate majority leader, he'd regularly refuse to bring bills to the floor but somehow blame the Democrats for them not passing, and the media would go :yeshrug:.

Schumer as majority leader correctly pointed out that Republicans played politics with the debt ceiling and almost caused the nation to go into default, and the media was like, ":picard:. What happened to lowering the temperature? :whoa:"

100%

Republicans have GIFTED Dems with batshyt crazy members like MJT, Boebert, along with a Matt Gaetz being investigated for sex trafficking….make them the face of today’s Republican Party

R’s somehow have “independents” all concerned about “the squad” all this time….so why not tie MJT, Boebert, Gaetz to the entire Republican party in the same way?

but of course Dems aren’t doing this because they don’t know how to electioneer like Republicans

that’s because Schumer and others are quick to back down. Instead of amplifying and continuing the message, they fall back as soon as the media plays games.

Obama ran a presidential campaign calling Romney the boss who wants to fire you, and he kept saying it. The Dems of today fall back as soon as there is any adversity.

I completely agree. I keep running it back in my head, it’s either the Dems are willful idiots or willingly complicit. Case and point the Roe vs Wade case happening now. The dems seem to regularly have an issue with framing and I’m like do they not hire people from marketing or advertising because this is an easy layup. You need to present to the American people the following question, “when in the modern history of America, has America been the country that has pursued taking away rights from its citizens?” You have a conservative lead Supreme Court actively discussing taking away rights from American citizens. Stop saying women. We all know this affects women, it’s obvious that this is not enough to sway people. The key point here is this will be the first time in modern history that the Supreme Court will vote to take away a right granted to American citizens. Fight on that purpose. Argue tooth and nail that we do not take away rights from American born citizens and let the chips fall where they may. If they overturn roe v wade, you argue that repubs are working to take away the rights of American citizens and you have a clear example to point when they did it.

It pisses me off to read people on forums understand how to address the repubs better than the Democratic Party who has access to research, funds and resources.
