I been telling the over 50 crowd at work this is how it was going to go down. All these old heads underestimate how roe v wade got more people out voting. The people are sick of this radical BS and many repubs are not leaving the house to vote. If you have repub friends or people who know, the ones who aren't 5000% MAGA are damn near ashamed to be associated with them.

Dems blew the Wisconsin Senate seat by nominating a black progressive that supported defunding the police. :yeshrug: Anyone else would have beat Johnson.

Yeah progressives really gone have to chill on that "defund the police" talk b/c it's really backfiring. Although a seriously solution needs to be made on how to deal with the fukked up law enforcement in this country.

So you think this is enough to destroy Trump 2024?

Another question. Does this also indicate that any republican challenger is going to have a tougher time than expected getting Biden out of the paint?

Moreso the month of negative ads in September that went largely uncountered.

Lasry and the other lady running wouldn't have beaten Johnson either. Mandela had a solid profile and is the Lt. Gov

It's very hard to defeat an incumbent president

if its Biden v Trump, you gotta favor Biden

This might make it tougher. I wish that he announced he was running before Mid-Terms like he wanted to. No telling what mistakes the Repubs make before 24. They have real issues and have to get the crazies out the party. But once they get rid of the crazies the new base stays home.

Trump has destroyed the Republican Party by himself and if he doesn't win the RNC nomination in 2024 he's fukking done. By 2024, America will have been through Trump's bs for almost a decade.

Yup. If it's Biden vs Trump II, I would expect to see Trump get washed & embarrassed for once & for all. Voters tonight have already sent the message that they are not going to put up with Trump extremists.

I still think Desantis has a chance but he will never get past trump. His conundrum is his term ends in 2026 so he would have to wait two years to run. He’s not dynamic enough to command national attention. He should have bent the knee and been trumps VP for 2024

Said it here.

A lot of times, you lose people over the messaging. We all know that measures need to be taken with law enforcement but Republicans will pervert any and everything if not pitch perfect on the wording. Looking at it through that prism, simply saying Defund the Police is not smart. There should be something along the lines of reeducate the police or realign the police. Hell, BLM as a slogan could have been better by saying Black Lives Matter Too. That last word would have changed the dynamic of the whole argument. I have no problem with the movements as they are necessary but we need to get people to hear us too.
