It's wishful thinking, but I wonder sometimes about a possible future where Trump loses the Republican nomination and runs as an independent anyway. It's the kind of vote splitting I could get behind :banderas:

I didn't see anyone make an issue of that. He's actually doing better than anyone thought possible. Maybe there's a Milwaukee miracle.
Nah, will be down by around 15-20k when all's said and done. Going on RT of all places cuts pretty cruelly, especially for Ds. They probably didn't even care about what he said, just that he went THERE to say it.

Linda Hidalgo is up in her election for Harris County judge (county that Houston is in). I think she has potential to be a big time Democrat in Texas in the future. She's only 31 and she's been county judge since 2019. She did a solid job handling covid in the 4th largest city in the US.

He would do it, and no scandal will eat into his voters either.
