They lost the qualifying game to Italy. Andjusic had 27 (7-12 from three), Petrusev had 22 and Dobric had 17.
That was with Jokic, Bogdanovic, Pokusevski and Smailagic all not playing. Plus they have Teodesic, Bjelica and Marjanovic too.

Slovenia made the olympics, and other nations take international competition more serious than American basketball fans do. Slovenia is a tiny ass country. Making it to the olympics is a dream.

Your point was that Slovenia didn't qualify before because they lost to other former Yugoslavian countries. I just learned what happened in 2016 and 2012 thanks to Google. Turns out they were eliminated by Latvia in 2016 and by Spain in 2012.
