It was glaring that if his jump shot isn't falling, he can't really do anything useful. Can't score easy in the paint like Kyrie/Steph, can't facilitate like Harden, can't defend like Jrue. It is probable that USA won through sheer athletic ability rather than a combination of ability and the right tactics.

It is uncomfortable to be in a position to criticize Popovich because he’s an all time great coach but the result doesn’t always justify the means.
