they replay the game later for free on NBC
Who competes in the 3v3? Somebody explain to me how that work? Are those women in the WNBA and they just didn’t make the regular team so they went to 3v3?

No they decided to compete. Plum was first overall pick couple years ago in the WNBA. Nobody on an NBA roster wanted to compete so we had dudes like Robbie Hummel out there getting sonned.
All of the USA players are from the WNBA.
They automatically qualified because they had the highest finish of all Asian countries in the 2019 World Cup. They finished 23rd out of 32
Some preferred to compete 3v3, probably because they thought it was a better chance to get medals, so they are mostly WNBA. The men have some sort of stigma towards 3v3 so they didn't compete, we didn't qualify.
BIG3 players aren't allowed to participate so that's who we probably would have sent but Ice Cube has to work that out before the next olympics. Olympic 3v3 is a lot more exhausting looking than BIG3's 3v3 tho since they don't check the ball.

That's what makes it so fun to watch, it's non-stop. And the ref's be letting the physical contact go too!
No idea. Has something to do with the competition committee. I think it's because the Olympics don't recognize the BIG3 as a legit league and therefore BIG3 players are still considered retired professionals and not active professionals. But I'm not completely sure.
Edit: a quick read says that ir's because of FIBA not having a partnership with the BIG3. It basically looks like they want the BIG3 to cut them a check.
Yeah I was watching some 3v3 and I was like damn that shyt looks tiring. Also you can get embarrassed quickly if you ain’t paying attention
