i appreciate your knowledge but judging by the threads numbers i dont think the (graffiting) hiphop pillar is important to most.

This board is a toy board tho.
None of these nikkaz on here are Bboys but me tho frfr.

They just are gateway rap fans at best.

Dese nikkaz don't leave their house and do shyt.
Nor are they in the house with this skillset they are hiding that is dope. This whole headfake like these users are some skilled somebodies on here is a bonafide lie. Anybody on here is a corporate funded lurker.
to wannabe jingle communications major at best. Except for like four to five almost pro ready emcees on this baord.
at best
Whom i know still not culturally solidified in knowledge of self.
nor a pillar of skill like that.
or they would be the headliner and i am the headliner frfr tho.

lol real talk about the tattoo comment. going to look at Jim Lee's pencil game now.

whoever used to do them illustrations at the back of each source-magazine article was dope too.

He was alright.
He was at the level of the guy who worked at great America doing caricatures or north pier with a store doengraded booth because of the recession as a skill artist tho.
Mad magazine copy style made in blackploxitation style shyt.
Dope as fukk for the source and for museum pieces too.

As far as for me,...
I would put up his work of:

Dr dre and ed lover from yo mtv raps.

I do not live caricatures of culturally dope emcees.
So when he drew a commercial rapper who violated culturally.

I always enjoyed the pillar culture based joke and satire completely.

The pm dawn one now i think of it is a piece for the house too. As it has a different meaning now Krs will not do his job and diss bambaaata. shyt is ridiculous how Krs ruined the last pillar's cultural viability and pliability in one last fell swoop.

If nikkaz did their jibs they asked for in hiphop culture on wax. Like they supposedly said. shyt would be way better.

Now i gotta do it all from the internet and pn wax to reel to reel to digital.

fukk Krs.

Tell that hot pepper challenge nose ass nikka.
I got tha table on me bytch.

I seen your art style and your post before.
You should get a bridgeman's guide to anatomy.
Plus the style of the book is drawn in a matter. That should make your natural style flourish.
It is a comic book penciler.
who does what you would like to probably accomplish.
visually or stylistically, similar to what you do professionally. I wanna say he is on,...i just watched YouTube of this dude too. [I will get back to you with this guy. He is a new gen artist. So check ig]
I wanna steer you away from Scott Keith cause you will get lazy and think that is okay.
So stay far away if you think that is a model of study.
You should stick to watching the speed to output and style discipline of someone like humbero Ramos to battle chasers. I think that is closer to what you would like to render a d stylistically accomplish from seeing quite a bit of your work.
Except i see you having a ralph baskhi abstract meets blaxploitation meets lucid absinthe trip mashup style.

what you would like to accomplish
there is a market for what you potentially would like to achieve in skill and rendering. You just need to learn perspective and study a bridgeman.

As you have the skill of what seems to be able to endure long stays at the easel. While still having energy to create in consistent bulk piece to piece. Which imo, is the best professional skill as you are gifted in how much time you committ to the easel. Without fatigue. That was jack kirby's greatest gift. That not every really skilled artist gets. Yet professionally someone with that easel grounded skill meets workrate. Without fatigue workflow to workflow. Is a gift you can not teach.

Plus professionally is the hardest to acquire. As it is a gift and even if a skilled artist is capable to produce in commission. Most skilled arts are not amplified in additional workflow workrate or output. As professionally art and business meet.
on the very ground level of natural juxtaposition. Ferally by sheer natural definition of what art and business is/are.

Guys you should look at:

Rob Leonardi : Only his early new mutants sub in work in the eighties. His nineties work is trash.

Mike mignola : You should be a disciple of his actually. As what you do is wanna be mike mignola. You nist never saw his work. So check his hellboy stuff and all time industry best use of black. That he can get lazy. So judge his work from easel skill output not from a visually centralized point of study.

bro this is like fresh water, all of it.

one of my big influences of recent is Frank frazetta i heard about him through Jerry the King Lawler saying his a big fan and thats how he got the inspiration for the "kamala" character. i dont have the still life discipline as of yet really i prefer abstract illustrations and high end execution.

lf

but i try and create this adventure type canvas's with afrocentricity and hiphop in mind.

i like his work its a little more eye appealing to me than the standard comic illustration, its got a slick slanted quality to it.

Everybody wants to be franzeta naturally because he is the best ever. In the ideal of what every man should feel.
At the first initial gaze upon franzeta's.
detailed character focale point world building was a thing that actually exist. Yet you are not at all anywhere influenced by franzetta from your work at all.

Simply if you were. You would have copied numerous franzeta pieces and made them look exactly like franzeta is one first sitting. Which i know from your work you can not do now.
You have a style which comes across expression wise. You may never even think in that triangle to mid worm's eye to splash page foreground view that franzeta worked in predominately. Let alone capture his line work on his masterpiece self portrait etc.

So if i were you. I would setup to chase franzeta. Later down the line as an original influence base style of work. Right now. You need to study what i quoted you earlier and just use your activity level to attempt to ramp. As you have long road of discovery before application ahead of you to mature as a professional rendered artist.

There are only like four great beatboxer world wide.

Gq
Buff
Rahzel
Dougie fresh

Art Barr

It beatbox'n was a pillar. Then the guy from police academy was a real culturally viable bboy and not a audio based comedian with an act. When the guy from police academy is not bboy and not apart of hiphop culture.
