Like, they think CRT is new. It's not. They think social justice and equity is new. It's not. I studied hardcore racists, most notably their rhetoric and the way they recruit from the general public and young people at large, from 2010 to 2015. One thing I noticed is that these racists, American moderates, and young kids think all current social phenomena when it comes to race and social issues is new and not historically based. It's the most repugnant and anti-intellectual phenomena I've ever come across. But they are very successful and making these things all some new boogeyman that has no basis in history. They think it's just contrived nonsense that Democrats and "the left" come up with to control Americans. They truly think these things are disconnected from history, which is like saying the Earth hasn't had history for the last few billion years. As if we just spawned from nothing yesterday.

It pisses me off that Youngkin won on a lie. CRT is not in Virginia schools. It's like winning by campaigning about election fraud. Find a couple of examples, and use them to paint the picture that it is happening everywhere. Democrats did no favors by avoiding the issue of CRT and the way Republicans refined it to mean anything that would get white students anxiety make snd and them upset. I'm at the point I hope he bans CRT day one so conservatives will no longer have that to complain about. Once it's banned, they can't campaign on it anymore. Same goes for states where the governors have already banned it.

Why don't the Dems just disband and hand the government over the Republicans and let them implement right wing authoritarian rule. Let the Republicans shape the country into whatever they want it to be because you don't want the conservative white man angry.
