No it’s not. What’s makes New Jersey purple? Murphy won the governor race by 15 points in 2017. That’s not a purple state margin.
Are you serious right now? Chris Christie was a two term governor in that state and they’ve alternated the governorship between parties for fifty years. The legislature was red until
The 2000s and they’ve only voted blue in presidental elections recently as well.

New Jersey voted blue in every presidential election in the last 30 years. Where are u from? You know nothing about politics. Having a republican gov doesn’t mean you are a purple state. Maryland has a republicans governor, and they are far from a purple state.

Ask yourself this, how are the Republicans able to turn a made-up controversy (CRT) into an actual political movement (Parents for Youngkin) yet Democrats can't do the same with the First Responders and Educators that have been under attack since the pandemic? Everybody loves first responders, everybody loves educators, MAGA has been putting them through the wringer over the last year yet.....nothing from the Democrats. How the hell were they not able to politically capitalize on this? Could you imagine if the roles were reversed and ANTIFA was running up on kindergarten teachers and nurses?

This party sucks dikk.

The problem is not democrats and their message. The problem is there is a large portion of America, comprised of a very specific racial group, that just have low character and morals.

When you are dealing with people who literally watched people try to overthrow the government, then make excuses for them, then go and vote for the political party that endorsed the attempted coup, it doesn't matter what your message is. That person is not trying to listen to what you have to say. That person isn't voting on issues. That person is voting on the same things those racial groups always vote on.

Serves the Dems right for caping for Hispanics, but actively shytting on their base(us).

Hopefully this is par for the course nationwide, this would make black turnout more crucial if more Latinos vote red.

The vaccines mandates are hurting the dems. What’s was the black vote total?

I’m a born marylander. Maryland hasn’t had a red legislature since the 70s. New Jersey had one 20 years ago.

You all have to stop making excuses for these elected officials.

It also doesn't help that they claimed they were going to issue $2k checks if elected, but in turn finesse their voters once elected. Dems don't believe in anything other than more immigration; vax mandates, and trans issues. None of that actually interests their average voters or the ppl they desire(suburban cacs).

The Dems don’t try to make it true. And it’s not about the media, it’s about getting to people and telling your message. The current party apparatus doesn’t permit that because they care more about who can fundraise the most.

I don't disagree with the rest, but the bolded is contradictory. The media is how they get their message out to the masses. I'm not saying Dems don't suck at messaging, but what I am saying is that even if they were better, it's not gonna make as big a difference as people think it will.

But a significant amount of these same voters in the case of Virginia have in the past voted for Obama and Black Governor of Virginia Douglass Wilder and even voted for Democrats these are College educated white voters College excited women and non college excited white voters.

Messaging and other factors do matter to these voters.
they can swing back and forth apparently

And you have to stop blaming elected officials for the decisions of shytty morally reprehensible people.
You think telling suburban and rural white voters they are "morally reprehensible" is effective?
