Same as the 2020 general election. Majoriy of GOP voters voted on Election day, while majority of Dems voted early.

Not a shock whatsoever. That old bytch Biden and his goons are hated within the Eth/Eri community nowadays. They’ve aided and sided with a political mafia that they empowered to be the neocolonial masters of East Africa. They’re threatening sanctions which will damage the economy in the name of bringing back racist ethnonationalists. So Rethugs will definitely find willing voters amongst the Habasha community if they say the right things.

For the record, I think they’re being used as a political football and the GQP will do nothing to help Ethiopia/Eritrea.
Foreign policy, especially in this situation, is rarely a partisan issue. But I don’t feel the least bit bad for establishment Dems since they thought it was a good idea to antagonize a group that makes up a sizable population in key places like VA and the nation’s capitol itself. Suck a donkey dikk ol neoliberal democrat feggits :pacspit:

I just find it so comical that they go to these lengths. Eddie Guerrero would salute all this lying, cheating, and stealing.

I don't see how that's any different than how Dems treat minorities.

Its not any different at all. I did also say in that post that foreign policy, especially in that region, is rarely ever partisan. The only way this will become the twilight zone is if the evangelical right sides with Ethiopia due to its own legacy in the Bible.

Outside of that, pandering towards either side is fruitless. Ethiopians and Eritreans, as well as all Africans and diasporans, would be better served aligning themselves politically with Black folks in America. And Black folks in America should listen to Brother Malcolm’s advise and register as independents instead of aligning to any one party.

Yeah, they approve of transsexuals sharing bathrooms with their daughters and Marxist dogma being taught. Got it. shytlibs like you kill me.

What dogma? And as opposed to what? The capitalist indoctrination that keeps you oppressed by a tiny ultra wealthy minority? The profit driven culture that’s destroying the world? Sounds wonderful compared to ol Marx….who btw wasn’t doin shyt but taking old indigenous ideas of communalism and putting an economic spin on it.

Voted yesterday in Arlington. Small line. Took me about 10 minutes. Dems are doing a good job of turning people out. I’ve been getting text messages reminding me to vote all month. They hit me up three times yesterday and I voted around noon.

Friend of mine said it took two hrs in Fairfax Co yesterday. When I voted it was a good number of black folks in line. I agree - the Dems are reaching out to folks....IMO, just as much as last year

As always I like to go back and look at the previous election cycle coverage. In 2017, Northam led in most of the final polls in Virginia, and in the ones he didn't, it was a tie. Still the news coverage leaned heavily towards him being an underdog, and when the early returns came, the immediate reaction from John King on CNN was take it back to the 2014 senate, and kept painting it as a potential long night because Gillispie was running good in southwest VA. That was until NOVA started reporting and it became clear that Northam was exceeding margins in the area. New Jersey was a quick projection, and the then Lt. Gov was throwing heavy shots at Christie, blaming him for sinking her campaign. His approval rating in the state at the time was below them Bush 08 levels :russ:
