Looks like Ruf is going the Michael Cuddyer route. Man just lost it from one moment to the next. Mets definitely lost that trade.

Ruf: 28 games, 10 Hits, 7 RBI, 0 HRs, .152 BA, 77 PA's

Davis: 44 games, 33 Hits, 7 HRs, .280 BA, 136 PA's.....JD has also had more playing time.

I got the numbers from baseball reference btw.

Don't know why Buck let Alvarez hit in that spot. After the first swing and miss I knew he was over matched. should have used Vogelbach. Lindor had the worst at bat to start the inning.

This is why you don't lose to teams with a 90+ loss record at home in September.
The division should've been wrapped up last week.
1-6 last week against the Nats, Cubs, and Marlins. Flip that around and the division is over.

:manny:

Mets extra base hits this series:

Game 1: Escobar double, Nido home run.

Game 2: 0

We have an outdated ass offense :heh:

We need 3 singles to generate a run while the Braves are just casually knocking balls out the park.
The lineup is completely unbalanced. 1-5 get on base and hit, 6-9 are automatic outs. It's a start-and-stop lineup. That's why they struggle severely with runners on base. Ie. Bases loaded, 0 outs, here come Guillorme, Nido, and Naquin.
