If these people can't beat the pirates, they deserve losing 1st.
Also one of Lindor or Alonso should be dh today, and the other should be on the bench. It's nice that they want to play everyday, but Alonso has been dog shyt lately and is actively hurting the team. Buck is supposed to be the adult in the room, so he needs to manage. He needs to be able to sit one of them for their own good

If this team goes down to the wire and they need to get wins in the final 3 series: 2 against Miami, 3 vs Braves, and 3 vs Nationals. I have zero confidence. The NL East loves to stick it to the Mets.
And this offense, wow. So many weak outs. No one gets on base. No one gets a big hit that leads to a big inning.

If this team wins 95+ and doesn't win the division I'm gonna lose it.
Lol already down 4 runs against the measly Pirates… plenty of opportunities for Pete and the offense but they’re not in it. They’ll make the playoffs with the wild card and people will be content because nobody embraces mediocrity like the Mets.
