i think the economy has literally improved on a straight line since 2010 and trump happens to be in office at the top of the line. im not even really giving him credit for it

i think you need to temper your expectations with thinking that this "the economy is only working for the rich" talking point, is gonna work like you think it will. because people will say OK, i might be living paycheck to paycheck....but that same person would have been living paycheck to paycheck under obama. and given the data, probably doing slightly worse

How do you you figure that? Even if Dems flip the Senate you need a 2/3rds vote to remove a president. You would still need 10-15 Republicans which you would never get.

Blue Congress would just make Trump a lame duck and he'd just start shytting out executive orders at a faster rate.

23 Republican Senate seats are up for re election, and several of them are already on the losing side and a Dem is up for grabs on those 6 guaranteed seats. If Doug Jones, out of all people, can win a seat in ALABAMA that isnt in an election year, then no Republican seat is truly safe.

Cost of living increased since 2015. So whatever gains Obama gave to the public, its gets eaten up by 2020 cost of living under Trump. People working 2 jobs seems to be the norm now.
