Another Reich reclamation project :dead:

We are officially the Oklahoma of the NFL if he comes here. I'd lose so much respect for Ballard if he gives up a 1st for dude.

Indy is acting delusional. Signing Rivers was a "win now" move. Signing Wentz is a "win now" move.
They think that because they have a solid Defense and a few playmakers, the team is a QB away from winning it all. We can just plug a Rivers/Stafford/Wentz in and we're in business.
The truth is, none of those players make us even AFC South favorites. Especially not if we start giving up picks for them.

They need to stop playing around and realize we're closer to a rebuilding team than a contender. This is not gonna end until they draft a franchise QB.

Also let's remember that the Colts are the same team that passed on Brady (for Rivers) even though he had interest.

What the Bucs didn’t know was the homework Brady had done on them. He watched tape of their offense, he loved outside weapons Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and the security blankets at tight end, and he had great respect for the pass-rush and few young defensive pieces the Bucs had. Geography helped. Though the Brady camp had interest in Indianapolis, the Colts seemed to be set on Philip Rivers on a shorter deal

"I have the utmost respect for [Brady] as a player and competitor," Reich said. "For us, we got the guy we thought was the right fit for us, but this is a guy who I respect and admire immensely, obviously, along with everybody else."
Frank Reich says Colts took a look at Tom Brady, explains why they passed on Hall of Fame QB

I was never campaigning to sign Brady :whoa:, but it's obvious these dudes have no idea what they're talking about. They really thought they pulled off a steal last season getting Rivers. :aicmon:

I don't trust anything they say about QBs.

Unfukkingreal :mjlol::snoop:

Passed on a Hall of Fame QB for a Hall of Very Good QB. I defended the Rivers move last year, but I just can't do it with Wentz. I see Colts fans all across various forums pledging their hatred towards Brady and I guarantee all that hate would be swept under the rug quickly if he was here. :pachaha:

Brady and Peyton just have that effect of transforming a franchise's culture in an instant. I'm just thinking of that domino effect had he came here. AB and Gronk would be Colts. :gladbron: Our WR and TE positions would be improved just like that.

I think yall got 2 years.
Ride Jonathan Taylor for the rest of his rookie contract and see what happens, then after that let a full rebuild begin.

I just hate how teams waste 2nd-4th round picks on QBs yet never give that qb a true shot. Yall coulda used that pick on some depth but took Eason and he'll never be more than a backup for the foreseeable future, and if you get Wentz he's stuck there.

I share the same sentiments, although I can't really say anything regarding Eason until he actually takes some snaps in the league.

He has to play this season. He has to get experience. It's not like this team is a sure-fire Super Bowl roster that's marinating without a QB. The folks who believe that are delusional. Roll the dice, let's see what the kid got. If he's good then that's a pleasant surprise. If not.....well the team just got a decent draft pick.

Yeah yall got to give Eason a shot but if they keep bringing in guys above him its a wrap for that:francis:
Right. I mean other than Russ who took a job from Matt Flynn (:laff:) and Dak who got it cause of injury and Minshew (but he getting bushed)3rd-whatever QBs don't get a chance to show anything and a chance to win the job.
As a team you might as well save that 3rd-5th pick on taking a qb and get some depth, not like they're drafting these guys to ever play.

The Chiefs window is closed just like that.:lolbron:.

But, honestly, they'll be right back in it this coming season. This could be a semi-revenge tour type season for them, but BeliGOAT will be right there standing in the way.:wow:.
