Though I will say these world teams have been made up on some selective premise at times. They will give credit to a player born oversess but raised in the US since 4.

But the reverse isn't used. They don't consider a dude raised in another country but got his basketball training in the US an american player. Its all PR IMO and a way to grow the games globally. I remember how in 2008 olympics you had all these american players playing for different countries claiming they great grandfather...:mjlol:.

Yall remember whem Kris Kaman played for Germany.:russ: If I remember correctly dude own grandfather fought in WW 2 against the germans and was mad as fukk he played for germany.

In the end I don't care cause overwhelmingly the best players from other countries are black (from a numbers standpoint). Just like overwhelmingly the best players in america are black.

I said it years ago when the NBA was running overseas to get white players. Them foreign countries gonna fukk around and win a gold medal or two with a all black team. Then the next thing you know all them teams gonna try to get black players. And eventually most the foreign players getting drafted gonna be black. :lolbron:

shyt happened in america with college sports and I would argue it is slowly happening overseas. Look how many black folks on france national basketball team. Once parker and them won euro cup that shyt changed a lot even with other countrues. shyt the french team will never be mostly white again. Hell them and Canada teams as black or blacker the Team USA...:russ:

I remember that fat greek dude was the only black player on greece back in 2006. Now a black dude the best player on greece runs the offense and defense and is the MVP of the NBA. And them racist in greece didn't even want him or his family to be citizens...:mjlol:

Big Sofo aka Baby Shaq :yes:

I wonder where they'll designate Killian Hayes next year. He's French but with an American dad and he was born in Florida.

“ASSistants” :lolbron:

:dead::dead::dead:

this isn’t an emotional 19-20 year old with instant access to social media. This is a grown man, sports agent sitting down and writing a official ass press release and sending it to news organizations.

I’m dying at the idea that he didn’t even run this by Matisse and he’s just scrolling through NBA news and seeing it like :dahell:.

Brandon Clarke moved to Phoenix, Arizona at 3 years old and is playing for the World team :dahell:

I was cool when NBA players like Kaman were playing for international squads out of descendance because it gave other world teams some depth.
