Politically, Nikki Haley is in a different space than Mike Pence. Pence was close to losing his race. Haley is doing the corporate board dance game. Why jeopardize your dollars for something fleeting?

Eh it's not really an act. He's running on the Democratic Party platform while talking well about electoral college reform, statehood, the filibuster, and court expansion. He's not for M4A, he doesn't talk about race, income inequality, the financial sector education, or foreign policy (he will be consumed by the blob) in a meaningful way (or at all in some cases).
When it comes to rhetoric he's better than everyone to the right of Warren... but it's only rhetoric.
Basically, he's Obama without the generational talent.
